This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Life Digital (“Smart Life Digital”, “we”, “us”), the operator of Elematron (the “Service”) and a business based at Komorni Hradek, 257 24 Chocerady, Czech Republic, collects and processes personal data when you use the Service. We act as the data controller. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Czech law.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Usage data — records of actions you take (e.g. configs generated, validations, AI requests) and timestamps, used for quotas, analytics, and abuse prevention.
- Content you submit — configuration text and logs you enter into the generator, validator, AI assistant, and log analyzer.
- Billing data — if you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe; we store a Stripe customer identifier and subscription status, not your full card details.
- Technical data — IP address and basic request metadata, processed for security and rate limiting.
2. How and why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the Service and your account — performance of a contract.
- To process subscriptions and payments — performance of a contract.
- To secure the Service, enforce limits, and prevent abuse — our legitimate interests.
- To comply with legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
3. AI processing and third parties
When you use the AI assistant or log analyzer, the text you submit is sent to a third-party AI model provider (via OpenRouter) to generate a response. Please avoid submitting secrets, credentials, or personal data you are not authorized to share. We also rely on the following processors: Stripe (payments), OpenRouter and its underlying model providers (AI features), and Hostinger (hosting and database). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
4. Data retention
We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active. Billing records are retained as required by law. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection — Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, ÚOOÚ). 6. International transfers
Some processors may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and, during the private beta, to remember preview access. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, access to administrative functions is restricted, and traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice.
